Opening, Dedication of Sharon Haines Jacquet Education Commons May 9

The School of Education has announced the grand opening and dedication of the Sharon Haines Jacquet Education Commons, a new event and meeting space located on the ground floor of Huntington Hall. Named for Syracuse University trustee and School of Education Board of Visitors member Sharon Haines Jacquet '72, the commons will be dedicated at a ceremony on Thursday, May 9, at 5 p.m.

The School of Education’s Landscape of Urban Education Lecture Series will present historian Jeanne Theoharis, author of “The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks" (Beacon Press, 2013) on Wednesday, April 3.
